I thought of another book, from 1998, I don;t know if it will help you or not, but it's called It's Not About Food, or something similar to that. I hope this helps you out. If not, I can try on a day that I don't have a mild migraine. [For support groups, the only one I know of is Overeaters Anonymous, the others appear to be for the other EDs].
There is a book called "Overcoming Binge Eating" by Dr. Christopher G. Fairburn that is quite good. Although it was written in 1995 the information is still extremely relevant and insightful.
Also, Geneen Roth's "Women, Food and God" is a good one (not religion packed, despite the title). Anything by her is usually a powerful read.
Foresters thank you for reminding me about OA. I also appreciate the book recommendations. I will check into them.
