I have stated outright "I can never never never EVER have even one bite of ice cream; it is to me what a drink is to an alcoholic". My boyfriend had soy ice cream, and I guess I decided that was okay . . . and I had one bite. Didn't b/p that night; he was right there . . . but sure enough, the very next day, I ate his carton of soy ice cream and purged. Then I bought food and b/ped two days in a row. I did not do it yesterday and I haven't done it today, although that bagel creation I made this morning came perilously close. Always testing. Always wanting to believe that I am in control; I hate thinking I'm not in control. But before the stupid soy ice cream slip, I'd been much better for over a month at least, no binging and only a few incidents of purging.
