I'm just so out of it lately. I'm sick still and that just has me in a terrible mood, but deeper than that, I've been depressed for months. I went to bed early last night, woke up crying this morning, went to sleep crying this afternoon, and woke up crying tonight. Right now I'm ready to crawl back under the covers and cry. I had a fight with my mom this afternoon and my way of dealing with it was by not eating and by planning to not eat for a while.
Then this afternoon, I heard a song about a girl with an eating disorder at fifteen who was dead by the age of twenty three. I turned twenty four two months ago and it just kind of hit home and scared the crap outta me. I just don't know what to do.

I think reaching out and getting help is a great idea. You are not alone. I did not reach out and get help till I was 25, and I suffered in silence for 14 years. It felt so good to reach out and know that I was not alone. I went to a support group because it was fee and I did not have alot of options. Its a hard step to take, but you will feel so much better...hang in there

Please let your mom help you get professional help. There are some real good meds out for depression and therapy helps me enormously. Just having somebody to talk to who knows what you are going through will be a relief.

The problem with that is that I'm the rock in the family. Besides that, I don't have any options. I have no insurance, and no real income. So it's impossible all around.

its not impossible. i lost everything and had to apply for medicaid and now after a long process i got to meet my therapist today. she was so nice and i am going to see her in two weeks. it was a fight yes and the office isnt like my other therapist office they i pay out of pocket for when i have the money but it was worth it

Obviously the rock of the family is finally crumbling. You know you can be the strong one only for so long until you break down yourself. I like lg5288's approach. Fight for what you need and deserve.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
