When your body is in a state of distress and malnutrition, as it is when you restrict and undereat, it will do everything it can to protect your vital organs to keep you alive. So when you start to gain weight, some of the weight (not all, but some) tends to go to your stomach area because you have so many important organs in that area. Your body is smart, and wants to make sure those organs are protected, and it does this by storing some of the weight there.
If you are consistent with feeding your body properly, it will learn that its not in danger anymore and your vital organs do not need that extra protection anymore, and the weight will redistribute. The key is that you must be consistent. I know it is tempting to want to restrict and exercise, but you must not do this. The ONLY way the weight will redistribute is if you keep eating well and get to a healthier weight.
You're in a rough part of the weight gain process, and many people give up at this point because the weight distribution issue scares them. Do not give up. Take it from someone who's been through this before, that the weight does redistribute - I promise. And it usually does not take much time either. Mine redistributed in a few months.
Also, consider that the eating disorder voices in your head are probably telling you your stomach is a lot bigger than it really is. Our views of our bodies tend to be distorted. Also, your stomach is probably bloated because your digestive system shuts down when you restrict, and it takes a little while to get going again once you're eating better. But just like the weight distribution, this will improve with consistency.
