No.
Most likely, like me sometimes, I nick the back of my throat and I bleed a little. But being forceful can lead to rupturing your throat, which is extremely serious.
But catching the back of your throat causing a few spots of blood is the least damage you are doing to yourself. Electrolyte imbalances from throwing up eventually, or even immediately, causes serious heart problems, as well as dehydration.
I hope you are getting assistance to beat ED.
But you're here. Good sign!
I just have to tell you that I smile or laugh every time I see your squirrel massage! Beyond cute!! Thanks for the chuckles! And btw, I love squirrels. I fostered a couple of orphaned babies a few years ago and they were the cutest ever!
All that said: I truly hope you're attempted to seek help for your disorder, and stop it before it becomes a very big problem. Most of us started out thinking we could stop, but once you fall into this void, it's one hell of a climb to get out of.
Sorry Katie, I'm not being flip, I just got caught up in the ridiculousness of that word... and the concept, when I look back on 30 years of VOMIT in my own life, it blows my mind.
Bulimia is an encroacher. It takes over your whole life, bit by bit. A couple times a week... 5 times a day... Stop it now.
