I'm extremely sorry about the death of your dog. Animals are like family to me, and I'm sorry for your loss.
Have you tried Excedrin Migraine? You probably have, just wanted to throw that out there, because it's so much cheaper than prescriptions and I'm told by friends that it actually works. It can mess with your stomach a bit though.
I think it's pretty sick how young girls are obsessing about their weight. My god daughter is 8 and a few years ago, she told her mom she wanted to look like "this" and pulled up her shirt and sucked her stomach in so far she looked emaciated. Scared the living shit out of us. All you can do, I guess, is make sure she knows that she's beautiful as is.
Good luck and I hope you're feeling better!
unfortunately, i tried to ask why she wanted to lose weight. it didn't go over well.she just said "because!" and told me to shut up. i don't think weight loss in and of itself is neccessarily a bad thing. but my grandma and mom-who were both overweight-spent the majority of their adult lives trying to "be thin". my mom is still trying new diets. she's probably spent her WHOLE LIFE dieting. my grandma had a series of strokes at 74 and passed away in 2003.
my mom is taking her vacation from work. she is going to stay with my uncle for a few days. he has a pool and mom wants me to go swimming. i don't even own a suit and i've always felt self-concious in one anyway.
on the bright side, i did eat. dad brought home burgers and i had some chocolate afterwards.
