You're quite right. Ever since I developed Anorexia, I have lost 35 lbs in 4 months. And now, 3 months after my weight stalled, I have found myself to be caught up in my weight and trying to maintain what I've done to myself. I don't look underweight, but online calculators tell me I am. I think I look a lot better than I did, but honestly... I'm so unhappy with constantly worrying about gaining back my weight that I lost. I need to gain some back... I don't get my period anymore and my hair is falling out... but I just can't get over my sick way of looking at my body.
And to Alliegator:
Honestly, I don't stare at skinny people and wish I were like them because I think I am thin enough. But what I do do, is look at skinny people and wonder if they are naturally that way or if they had to almost kill themselves like I did to be that way. If they are naturally thin, I too, get so jealous that I can hardly contain myself.
i try to stay away from magazines with skinny models in now. its all airbrushed anyway, so its not natural. but there is this one model who i am like not obsessed with but i only look at pics of her from time to time. she makes me so jealous.
and if i see someone on the street i do what tay does, think if they are naturally like that.
hugs.
