I don't know what to do, I can't stop myself anymore. Every time I eat or drink anything I just have to get it out of me. I've always got that stomach pain and occasionally chest exhaustion pain. It's just like a never ending roller coaster. I am so so so tired all of the time and now my mood is dropping to a real low again. I absolutely can't talk to anyone about this yet, I know I really really should I just can't. Please help. I just want this taken away from me, I'm just struggling really bad at the moment :'(

You've got this sweetie. I know...I know...I know how hard it is. Sometimes it just seems impossible to talk to anybody...but it seems like you are at the point that you need to find someone to reach out to. Who is the safest person for you? Is it your mum? I know that you said that she sort of encourages you ED. Do you have anyone on your treatment team that is still there for you? Are you working on getting a new one? Is there a hotline? I agree with Libby that you need to focus on getting in...and keeping in...some nutrition. I use Ensure + and sometimes Starbucks Frappuccinos or Lattes. Please try to be kind and gentle to yourself. You are a beautiful and strong young woman who is about to blossom. Message me...I am here for you and can help you.

Hi. Unfortunately, things haven't gotten any better. After having one day of eating and not purging it I couldn't continue. That fear of the weigh was too strong. And no, I'm not able to have like Ensure or any of that kind, I have a tin of Sustagen Powder in the pantry but haven't used it any more than once in about 4 months. I'm just too afraid of it because I know all of the calories on most things and I know the nutritional information from Sustagen from front to back because of the amount of times I had to sit with it while in hospital before they moved me on to the Resource 2.0, which was DOUBLE the amount! I have soups but I still fear the gain too much so I throw it up. The only thing I have kept down in the past few days is some diet soft drink. (2kJ/0.5Calories per 100mL) water, 1 piece of sugarless gum, and one mug of herbal tea with 3 Splenda's, and 1/4 of a serving of Jols (56 calories per serving). I can't talk to my mum about this. I'm just afraid now its too late and because I'm not reaching for help I'm just going to get really sick again then will need a forced admission again, and probably be put on an ITO (Involuntary Treatment Order) again :/ I have one last appointment with my GP in two weeks then I am moving. But all he is doing is checking up basically on my medication i started, but I don't even know if I kept them down cause I'm meant to have it with a meal... And of course the after-side of a meal means it probably didn't digest into me to be effective and work.

Ok its me again. My daughter is in the hospital on a potassium drip again. I cant count the times. She is about to have forced treatment. I cant talk to her because she cant cope with me being upset but I can talk to you. I believe in you as I said in my last post. and WELL DONE for getting through even one day purge free. I know you have it in you to get through another day too. AS this disorder had a day it started, it can also have a day that it stops. You cannot give up. You have your whole life ahead of you. Please practise loving yourself. Even if you don't feel that way at first. I am concerned about you. But I believe you have an excellent chance to pull through this. But it must be taken one day at a time. Let me ask you something. On the day that you made it, what helped you??? Which things make you happy? I would like to know. I know your ED can give you a false sense of security but what makes you genuinely happy? We have got to focus on living in the solution. We have to find the solution and focus on that. I am always here to cheer you on to wellness. I am strong but so are you. And you deserve to be free. Please consider that whilst your ED may give you something, it is taking more from you than it is giving. Look at all the possibilities that lie ahead. You are about to grow up and be independent. The world is your oyster.

Thankyou so much. I seem to have some super human blood that however many times I have 10 or so days only water I still manage to have next to perfect blood results, on the odd occasion I need drips, potassium, heart monitors and lots of blood tests and ECG's, and NG tube, and a blood sugar level of 2, but thats only really happened once or something. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter though, I'm thinking about her and hoping she reaches recovery everyday. Honestly, I don't know what makes me happy... I find it really hard to pin point what does, other than losing weight... But anyway, I am really trying hard to convince myself to have some dinner tonight and keep it in and stuff, even if its just porridge or muesli or something, but it will be the first purge free food I've had in days. I just don't know if I can do it yet.

congrats on the purge free day, be very proud of yourself. as for tonight, it is great you are going to try and eat again, I believe you can do it, try eat slowly and keep saying positives things, even f you don't believe them yet. we cant let ED win and take over everything in our lives.

Sweetie--It is time for you to reach out for help from your mom or from a professional. This is going on for too long. I am very worried about you. You are really going to mess up your beautiful body...your vessel. You are destined for greatness but you need to start doing something to take care of yourself. I know that you have had a lot of bad experiences with professionals, but how about giving it another try? I know you are having issues with your stomach...that is tough...you said you were going to try something comforting...like porridge...how did that work? Were you able to eat it and keep it down? Every meal or snack (as small as it might be) that you can manage to eat (and keep) is a huge victory. You have a lot of people here in your corner...I know that I am and I know that Libby is...let us be your support people virtually and let others in as well. Also, how was your weekend getaway?
TheED
Thankyou ann and sarsota. Yeah the weekend away was ... Alright. And I managed to have some soup but couldn't keep it. It was just so difficult. But I will try and get some help. In 4 days I can hopefully get my P plates, meaning I will be able to drive myself places by myself and be more independant. Then I might feel more able to go out and seek support. Thankyou for all being here for me, it means a great deal to me and I love that you are all so genuinely caring and loving and supportive to me. I hope you all are doing well and their families and anyone else is doing well. Stay strong people. We are people, not our illnesses or diseases. We can conquer all :)
