To your first post, what actually helps me is pure analyses, put things in perspective. The reason why I want to binge, will eating make me better? That really helps me control the amount of food I eat during binges, it’s still a lot, but I’m working on it :)
And good old fashioned calorie count, and low carb diet on the rest non-binge days.
I think being afraid of eating and torturing yourself over it, that’s what makes us overeat as well.
But having a clear goal for the day (set amount of calories, carbs or how much veggies you should it) and accomplishing it and not going over it at the end of the day, girl, that is something to be proud of!
Don’t make the food your enemy, shouldn’t be your lover either haha, but feeling proud of yourself for doing something good, for overcoming the struggle, that is, I think, 1 big step to recovery!
Obviously sticking to healthy diet is no-brainer.
