I am getting treatment for a few things including an anorexia. So one of the appointments I have is with the nutritionist. The thing is that I have not really lost that much weight. However, I am not eating near enough that I should because I basically only eat at dinner. Anyways, I do have dizzy spells on occasion but I have adapted to them. I go in the other day to my appointment and my therapist, psychiatrist , and nutritionist are essentially having a meeting about me. I felt ambushed, especially since I was running late and frazzled already. My psychiatrist sat in on my appointment too. It was unnerving to me to have everyone so focused on me. It made me feel awful. They want me to get an EKG and see doctors. I have barely lost weight!!! Which believe me is frustrating. Especially since this ultimately became an intervention of sorts. I went to get help.......I have been trying my best to do what they want me to do......yet I still got ambushed like this. I feel so depressed over this. I feel like no matter what I have done, it was not good enough. Like I will never be good enough.

they are trying to help you. you just may not be able to see it that way right now. based on what you describe about your behavior, they have the right to be concerned. they do care about you and want to get you the halp you need. They are trying to work as a team, which is really great actually b/c thy are all on the same page/know what is going on with you. your dizzy spells are not something you should adjust too. neither is eating too little food. both are extremely dangerous and have dire consequences if not addressed. actual body weight really has little to do with how sick someone with ED actually is. please try to work with your doctors...be honest with them b/c that is how you will get well. I know it will be challenging, but you are stronger than you think you are! good luck.

Not every anorexic is emaciated or losing weight like crazy. The things all anorexics have in common though is that it is the mental disease with the highest death rate. So your team is obviously very worried about your health status and I hope you will take their help and work on becoming healthy.

I do have a great team but I can't help but have felt attacked. I am not emaciated but I am under weight and lost it pretty quickly. People around me are asking me if I have lost weight and my clothes are starting to get baggy. I am just nowhere near the weight I want to be. However, that is the opposite of what I am working towards. Recovery is really hard and I am trying my best because I need to get better. I am looking at inpatient again if I can't get myself together. I have to go through more blood tests again. I hate getting blood drawn.....a lot. I am dizzy now and slightly disoriented. I am really tired. I am tired of feeling like this every day. I don't have a life anymore. Yet I keep doing this. Sorry to kinda go off topic there.
