Honestly, watching ED strip away all the best parts of my life, the relationships, sports, girls, who I am at work, my focus on education, the focused and carefree sides of me, and leaving me a fraction of all of that, left me suicidal some nights. But for 1, I can't do that to my family who believed in me, and still do, I couldn't scar my little sis like that. If would tear away at her, and only show her how to give up.
And secondly, its not the end. It was bad, and low, and not the finest years of my life, but not the end either. Fight till the end, and be willing to be hurt and crawl, cry, break, but make it another day.
At some point red, you'll look back on this and be grateful you went one more day when you thought you couldn't. Fight till the end x
Now, although it has taken awhile to figure out, I know what I have to do to stay out of that situation again - so I now go to school full time, and work 30 hours a week, and moved in with my fiance and dog. It can be exhausting, but I still have relaxing days, as those are also equally as important.
As long as I keep myself busy, I'm usually ok. Of course ED is "scratching away at me" (a great description by jonroland) here and there, but keeping up with therapy, surrounding myself with family and loved ones, and keeping myself busy gives me more meaning to life, and a better way to handle it.
Of course, everyone deals with these feelings differently, but take the time to find out what works for you. Go to group sessions at a treatment center and/or meet with your therapist regularly, surround yourself with those you love and trust, and find what really works for you, individually. You will eventually work through it... Believe that you can make it through :)
