You cannot be forced into anything.
They cannot tell your parents, spouse, friends or job.
But remember that the vast majority of times the recommendations they are making are for your well being. So following up on them might not be a bad idea.
Either way, if you have an ED that would concern you enough to ask, you should go see a doctor and look for assistance. Best of luck.
Because you're 19, you aren't going to be forced into anything. Court mandated hospitalisation for adults only occurs when you are a suicide risk or have become so ill you cannot take care of yourself and must get medical treatment or face death.
Don't worry about talking to someone- they are there to help you, not judge you.
