I lost a significant amount of weight in the last month, but gained half of it back in the three days at Christmas. This morning, I was freaking out. I'm so torn between recovery and just giving it all up. But I keep thinking "This shit will kill me." I'm remembering how worried my dad was, and how much my mom cried, and how everyone walked on eggshells around my food habits and my godawful moods. I'm so tired. I just want to give up.
So today, I e-mailed my dad. He's a very understanding person, and he's usually the one that calls me on my crap. I told him that I'm scared of the thoughts I'm having and of how badly I want to lose weight. I told him I didn't know what to do. Now, I just don't know how to react. How he'll respond. How long I'll have to wait..
I don't know whether I should go make myself eat something or just crawl back in my bed and mope. I'm a very screwed up person. I hate it.

well, I am leaning twards eating a small snack, something that will give you good nutrion. Maybe if you want you can drink an ensure that way its not too much. THEN I would suggest going outside and go for a small walk. It is truely amazing when you get out of your normal routine and how much better it feels

I am so sorry that you are stuggling at the this point, i know how you feel. that cross roads is so hard. keep reaching out to your parents and family for support, they seem like they wanna be there to help as best they can. its wonderful that your dad is helpful too, its hard for guys to really understand and not just pretend it doenst exist. try to have a snack and perhaps do something that keeps your mind occupied while you wait for the email. i always journal on here while im waiting. im actually waiting for something too so thats why i came back on ds again today. hang in there and keep working towards your recovery, you are so strong

Definitely eat something instead of crawling into bed. That will only depress you. Xmas is over and you should have an easier time now to go back to a healthy meal plan. I'm glad your dad is so understanding and I hope you hear from him soon. You clearly still remember the torture ed put you through, so be strong and fight ed as hard as you can.

eat something, crawling into bed is inviting but will not help you. keep it small and managable and build back up. hugs
