I'm really confused. For once, I can actually SEE that I have lost weight. With the help of my loose jeans. I now have to wear a belt but didn't before.
Before is before my camping holiday. We went to the Peak District (UK) on a camping holiday. It was 4 days of walking and for 2 of the days it was in heavy thick snow. It was quite amazing but at the same time, pretty hard going. We climed one of the peaks on the wednesday in it. The snow was literally up to my knees so that will give you an idea of how much work we had to do to get up and over.
I'm really not doing well with food and didn't eat much over the week. But when I got home and weighed myself the next morning. I had actually gained weight! I gained the weight I'd lost the previous week. I don't understand it. Usually it's me losing weight and not being able to see it. But this time, I was SURE i'd lost weight and was really upset when I saw the numbers on the scale. :(
Anyone else had this?

Honestly I think that the scale is crap. For the longest time I obsessed with what the scale said, but I've learned you have to just go with the way you feel. I mean really...if you look in the mirror and are happy with what you see and you can tell that you feel better about yourself, why let the scale ruin that?! other people aren't going to notice a pound or two difference and the right people are going to love you for your personality, not your looks. Just try to be healthy and don't let the scale be in control of your happiness! :)

It really is true about the scale. Don't get on the scale, just decide what size you feel comfortable with and set your goals for that size. Forget about the weight or you will be a slave to the scales.

You said that there was a lot of work climbing. Perhaps the weight you gained was actually muscle weight. Don't be so hard on yourself. Muscle weight is good.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
