I am new on this support group and in desperate need of some help!! I find my binge eating disorder just getting worse over time the more I learn how to deal with life on lifes terms in soberity from alcoholism. I will have 2 years sober from alcohol in February. Now, I feel overwhelmed once again with my addiction to binge eating no matter what is going on in my life at the time!! I exercise 2- 3 hours everyday, I completely wear myself out trying to stop binging. This is driving me crazy!!!! I see a therapist, but that is not ever stopping me from binging.
I feel so hopeless about this just like I felt when I used to drink. I guess its good that I am exercising, because when I didn't exercise I gained a ton of weight, but compulsive exercising I'm not sure if that is gonna help me either. I hate feeling so terrible about myself, but I keep doing the same self destuctive behavior over and over again!!!

I feel like I'm in the same boat! I've been sober for only a month, but my binge eating is out of control. Of course, I understand it's taking the place of booze for me, but that's not helping me to stop it yet. I exercise two hours a day, but it's not enough to keep off the weight. I'm keeping faith that journaling and trying to get to the root of what caused my drinking and binge eating in the first place will help... I'm rooting for you, too!

Congrats on being sober for two year. What an achievement. But like you said it's all too easy to fall into another addiction and it seems that with binging and over exercising you have two on your hands. Have you tried seeing a nutritionist so you can get a meal and exercise plan that are healthy and you can be held accountable on a weekly basis.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
