After I lost around 8 pounds in less than a month my parents, sister, brothers, maid, friends, psyhologist, etc etc. Are freaking out about my weight. My mother told me today "you look anorexic, I doubt that's what you are and I hope not, or are you?", I said no because in the context I realized she does think anorexia is just about "I feel too fat, I hate my body, I want to look good in swimsuit" stuff. It might be like that sometimes but that's not my case, but it's true I can't handle food so I'll eat very little, vomit after every meal (it comes naturally, I don't have to cause it in any way) and still I work out 2-3 hours 3 times a week, so yeah maybe.
Today my mother made me take Gatorade to the gym so I at least don't lose more weight during workout. I feel that could work... In the long run. But I tried, I swear I did. I took it easy, sip by sip and alternated it with water so it wouldn't come out. But it did anyways, I ended up vomiting on the gym's bathroom and flushing some of the Gatorade left so my mother wouldn't ask questions. I'll keep trying but... Do you think this is a good strategy to start with?

I am very worried about you...it seems to be that you are anorexia purging type. You are losing large amounts of weight, people around you think you are too thin, you eat very little, what you do eat you cannot keep down, and you are exercising excessively...so this is serious. You mom was probably right. You mention that you have a psychologist...is this someone that you see to work on your eating disorder...or could you talk to her about your eating disorder? If not, I really recommend that you seek out a therapist who specializes in eating disorders and that you also look for a good nutritionist. You want to get this under control before it spirals too far out of control...and you are getting close. You can do this!! I believe in you!! It will be a lot of work but you can win this battle!!

Obviously it's not working. Try eating something that will stay down easier...also if this keeps happening your mom shouldn't be letting you keep going to the gym..

So, I can tell you one thing, at this pace you will end up hospitalized in a mental ward in no time, or dead. I know how hard it is, when you have no appetite and struggle to keep things down. I hope you can try eating small things, like a few soda crackers at first, with pb maybe so you can get some protein. I sound harsh, I don't mean to, but I agree with Sarasota this is serious. You need some help. Please consider talking to your mom and letting her know you need help. Its easy to minimize how severe our struggle is, but please find help for your ED before it is too late. Be honest. If you ever want to chat please message me. I hope you fight for your life. It's hard and it sucks, but you can do it. Good luck.

Sorry- to answer your question- YES totally try Gatorade, or sweetened tea, or even better carnation instant breakfasts (easier for me to handle than the ensure's. But if you like Ensure, those would be ideal. Drinking is easier for me, especially when I struggled with stomach issues. Supplement what you can't eat in food with liquid, but keep trying to eat a bit at a time. Believe me, if it gets out of control and you stop eating, recovery is INSANELY difficult. Fight for your life now before it gets even harder. But please, find support.

ThisGal, I feel like I shouldn't have reacted so much, but been more supportive. I think I'm projecting a bit because I don't want to look at myself. That aside, I hope you feel safe enough to reach out, know you're not alone here. Keep sharing.
