Just talk to her. Approach her out of concern. That's the only thing you can do. Also, approach her with resources that are written down and give her the paper. SHe might get angry, mad,hurt, pissed, embarrassed but when she has time to chew on what you say, she will want to reach out. No one wants to hurt their baby. I was struggling with my eating disorder with my kids. I had counseling and a nutritionist working with me. I can say that I only had a few behaviors. It is hard. Be there for her, because she needs support
no one can inform someone what labour and delivery is really all about and they don't call it labour for nothing.
my understanding is if you eventually need to go to hospital and you show up without a doctor they are not happy about it. I don't know if children services would get involved.
She says she doesn't want anyone touching her body? is this part of ED?
Im glad youre concerned - about your friend and about the baby. Its not appropriate to pre-judge a stranger but even if the birth goes well its not impossible that your friend will have some strange ideas about child nutrition. But lets not go jumping guns.
