What a great post, thanks so much. Your story sounds so similar to mine.... I haven't been on this site in a really long time because I have been doing pretty well with my binge eating and self-body-shaming, but the last few weeks I've fallen back into old patterns, and today something drove me to come here and your post is the first thing I saw. It really helps me to read that I'm not alone, even though my relationship with food is so isolating on a daily basis.....
I've been doing Bright Line Eating for the last few months, and so far its the only thing I've found which has helped me to kind of work on addressing the issues of food addiction directly. I keep doing really well for a few weeks, then I binge once, and completely fall off the wagon. Its so exhausting this constant battle within me. Its like a war between the person I want to be and the voice in my head telling me to eat uncontrollably. Im really sick of it, and I feel hopeless most of the time thinking there is no way I'm ever going to be cured or rid of this. I just want to be free you know.... just be happy and not think about food and my weight every second of every day....
