Before The Misery began, I was just a kid, so I doubt having a girly little sleepover wouldn't tickle your fancy.
My sister, however, recently turned 21, and instead of having a bunch of alcohol (she was addicted to that poison at age 12, and has since given it up), she invited a bunch of people to Chuck E Cheese Pizza and partied it up like a kid. So hey, who knows?
make up artist
limo
red carpet
champagne on the door
free bar and food
disco
photographer
then clubbing
..AMAZING!!!
It depends what you like doing though... this year I went out with my whole college year which was great too.
My 20th and 21st were also a lot of fun. For my 20th, we went to this restaurant that is decorated like you're in old Mexico, there's water falls, an arcade, gift shop... hard to describe, but heaven! And the next day, we flew to Cancun! So we were in the real Mexico! For my 21st we went to Dave and Busters, then the day after that, my boyfriend and I flew out to Tennessee, where we spent a week at Bass Nature Camp- and they had a cake for me there!
But your plans sound awesome- I'd never say no to going shopping!!!!
i would go in the city have shop get nails done and have marshmallows and hot dogs sounds fun to me and make sure what ever you want to do you do it cos its your party lol
So, I wrote about what's going down on my 23rd birthday (22 April) in my journal entry called "This is my Dream Coming True!" I think that it will soon become my "best birthday" yet! :D
I will definitely look around for some birthday party ideas. What do you really like to do, hobby-wise? Do you want to invite friends? Are you active, or are you more of a "relax and chill" sorta person when it comes to parties? Hmmm. I'll have to think of something now!
(PS: The best birthday I was referring to in my first post was when I turned 21. No alcohol allowed in resi, so we all had water shots! Haha! The girls secretly had bought big 2-1 candles, and put them in my breakfast granola! Haha. For activities, we made those little paper ring chains [as shown here: http://www.theideabox.com/Patriotic_Paper_Chain.html], as well as cut out stars and hearts, and pasted them everywhere. The girls also made me a cardboard/paper crown, which I still have to this day. Heehee...)
My mom got her nails done for her birthday (15 February) & I loooved them!!
the makeup artist would be really awesome!!
..hmm at the risk of sounding totally Canadian.. what's Chuck E Cheese?? :P
Drinking is definitely out of the question, I won't be old enough to drink until i'm 19 anyways & I don't think I will when I'm 19.
At my 15th we made homemade pizza's and had a little photoshoot in my room.
I have a little tiara that my friend gave me a few years ago that I plan on wearing :)
I was going to have a spa day with just me, my mom, & my sister last year but my sister was pregnant and still working & she's pregnant again & she's goes back to work in April hahaha
I don't want invite too many people, I can't stand to be in crowds even if they are my friends, gonna try NOT to have a panic attack on my birthday haha
I will be inviting at most 2 or 3 people.
I definitely want to;
get my nails done
get my hair cut
shopping in the city
go to my aunt's for bonfire (marshmallows, hotdogs)
maybe go swimming
