I asked my internist about this. Cause all of my cardio tests were normal. a few things.
first. some of the muscles in your chest, go under your rib cage so the muscle spasms seem like its the heart. Dystonia messes with our muscles big time. Think about all the expansion and contractions we go through each day. It takes its toll.
May be acid reflux, that will also cause chest pains.

The Fibro could also be the culprit. As for UTIs Gosh I lost count . That may be a fibro issue also. Its hard to tell whats causing what..

I have dystonia and Ankylosing Spondylitis and your muscles can really cause alot of chest pain because of what happens when we have twisting motion little tissue can swell called chondritis and feel like a heart attack, if you have fibro chest pain is one of the main symptoms on most computer sites or books i have seen my partner has fibro and alot of chest pain . So many reasons for chest pain it is ridiculous isn't it? Hope you find relief and peace and light

Thanks both of you for your posts. I'm trying to "learn to live with it." It's hardest when I swallow and feel like I'm being stabbed. LOL Not the best diet plan I could recommend. LOL

I have Generalized Dystonia.I had numerous tests on my heart since I have left bundle branch. I had a heart cath after Christmas. It was the muscles that were spasming. My heart is ok! I hope that is all that is bugging you and your heart is fine. I just rub it when it reminds me dystonia is still there.
