Riddles
1. a routine. Go to bed at the same time each night so your body gets used to it
2. no caffeine or alcohol. no caffeine after lunch time and preferably no alcohol at all. Herbal teas are good instead of coffee, or hot milk.
3. don't use computer or TV before bed. Get used to switching them off earlier so your eyes are not stressed out by the flashing screen. If possible, have both TV and computer in a separate room from your bedroom so your mind associates your room with sleeping not online chatting or TV. Read a book instead or listen to the radio, preferably something boring on a talk channel - sounds weird but I find that the sound of voices murmuring makes me sleepy. Music doesnt really help me but you could try it. Dont listen to comedy or anything that might keep you awake paying attention to it.
