I have trouble getting to sleep quickly. Its something that has been going on since I was a child. I only recently found out that this is a problem associated with Dyslexia. I just have trouble to stop thinking, either about my day, or what I was watching on tv. For a while I would try and force myself to go to sleep, then I would try listening to my ipod to force out my thoughts.

Has anyone have any tips on getting to sleep?

well its 3am
im always up late and mind rushing with forced thoughts
dont know if its linked to anything :/
mornings in bed im creative ,,,night times im self destructive

From a much older dyslexic: turn the TV off hour before you go to sleep, some light yoga stretching and meditate or pray, which ever is comfortable for you, most importantly deep breathing.

If this does not work ...read. I know, I hate reading; doing this activity for me is so fatiguing, it wears me out.
