I know, it sucks. My handwriting sucks as well. I try to rewrite any notes I have to write at work, before anyone gets to read it. It's seldom better afterward. :)

Have you gotten any remediation for your dyslexia? It is expensive, but there are less expensive ways to get help, depending on where you are. And if you had medical insurance, it probably will pay for it.

It saddened me that you feel you must hide your dyslexia from the person you are dating. What would happend if you told him/her?

What happened to you sounds depressing and embarrassing. Intelligence has nothing to do with it, but when you are in a position where your weaknesses are exposed, it's humiliating.

I hope that was a one time deal for you! But I guess there will always be times when something embarrassing happens. We have to go with the flow and pray that the next day will be better. )

i am creative and do come up with strange things,
.i build things and invent things or mostly find a way around things.
i think finding ways round things is the the thing that is mistaken for odd thinking..always forced the long way round .
i hate to fail at things i was brought up to not fail at things i make ,
.i have high self targets in a lot of ways,,but also i have no targets
because i know people are not machines..im forgiving .

but i am put on the sopt quite alot
at one point i coulnt spell my own name under pressure
i tryed to book a flight and coulnt spell my name right
had to come up with a way to remember it after that : /

i had a dyslexic girlfriend once and when i noticed it she just said "so"
i had never thought of saying "so"

you sued never put your self down because of dyslexia be very positive in your self thy are so many brilliant Pearson's out there with dyslexia and l have dyslexia and wren l was working the mangers tray d to lit me go because of this but l should them that Pearson's with this are so better then them and l always never for get that. so be very Proud of dyslexia because you can do what ever you wont to do and you can do it.
