it takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing
8 weeks for your friends to notice
and 12 weeks for the rest of the world
give it 12 weeks don't quit.
Have you noticed most gym challenges go for 12 weeks or the biggest loser show it runs for 12 weeks! I have gone from 85kgs down to 66 and yep it took 12 weeks for me to lose my first 10kgs going to the gym 3 times a week and eating healthy
you can do it just don't judge yourself harshly or set yourself unrealistic goals. It is better to have no goals and just exercise for the fun of it eat healthy but still have some naughty foods just smaller serves once a day we are humans after all lol
good luck!
Look for hidden sodium, regular soda pop is bad, and try to eat as little "white" as possible. That means white bread, white rice, white cereal, flour, sugar. Go for the whole grains and look out for artificial ingredients. That is the only thing that i did. Since I can't exercise much due to health limitations, I had to do it with what I ate. I have gotten a little over 100 pounds off this last year and have about 50 more to go. This can be done. It takes 21 days to make a new habit stick. Give yourself that long before you give up. And don't try to make too many changes at once. It will overwhelm you and you will give up. Take it one step at a time.

I think a lot of us feel like we don't see the results we need in the time we want to see them. I don't know if you have ever read the Skinny Rules by Bob Harper? He is one of the coaches for the biggest loser on NBC. I read that book several years ago and he had so many great points about feeling annoyed with not seeing results fast enough. Check out his book. I found it really helpful :)
