Dry Eyes Support Group
Dry eyes is an eye disease caused by decreased tear production or increased tear film evaporation. Symptoms include burning and a sandy-gritty eye irritation that gets worse as the day goes on. The symptoms are often caused by a loss of water from the tears that results in tears that are too "salty" or hypertonic.
Hope you feel better soon. Also- if i may ask.. what kind of preserv-free cream do you use now? Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I'm not sure what preservative I'm allergic to. I use the drops in individual dosages. Nothing really works. I read that the over the counter drops just last about 3 minutes or until your tear ducts drain the drops away.
As for creams, I don't buy fancy creams. I think they are outrageously expensive, and if they worked, people wouldn't be spending thousands for face lifts and botox. I have a very hard time using sun screen to.
The worst is shopping in some stores like Costco, Walmart, Home depot..and Once while at the Las Vegas airport. Anywhere the air is very dry and moving from an air conditioner.
Lately I just use Avocado oil in the shower and smear it all over, away from my eyes, Then when I get out I wipe my face with my towel.
