Now I'm remembering more stuff. I can't believe how much I blocked out! When I was 19 I finally spent my own money to see a family practice doctor. You know what his answer was? I was overstimulated from drinking too much caffeine.

I wish I could recall my childhood but to be honest, I don't remember very much of it at all. My mother worked three jobs and I took care of my two brothers on my own so there wasn't much room for "me." Anyhow, both my doctor and cardiologist suggested that perhaps I was drinking too much caffeine also. I laughed because at the time I only drank about 1/2 cup of coffee a day and the rest of the time it was either juice or water. I cut caffeine out completely anyways, going on three weeks now, and no change in my symptoms or how I feel on a daily basis!

to be honest, I dont remember any times when I was young in which I was dizzy, except when I had bronchitis. But not sure if that was the actual sickness or the meds.

But I had no problems playing sports, doing things I loved to do, going shopping whenever and wherever, staying up late and not being affected by anything.

I have never been a coffee drinker, but was never big on caffeine anyway, cause i used to get palpitations from it, well coffee anyway, not really soda.

After a summer of playing lots of golf, it all came to a crashing halt. I have not been to a driving range or course for nearly 5 years. And that makes me sad. Something that I was passionate about and loved to do cause I like being outside, had to stop.

But, I dont remember any certain time when I was young that I had the same feelings I do now.

@Lilumommy, it's amazing how people will throw out any answer to see if you'll fall for it. They don't even care that you'll keep on with no relief until you're in the ER.

@maestro, I sympathize with you giving up golf. I haven't been able to play any sport at all since January. I can't even take a walk around my neighborhood without hubby going with me.

When I was a kid it used to make my mother frustrated. I would wake up vomiting and crying first thing in the morning. At first blush it looked like the common flu, so she would inspect me. No fever, no coughing, then she'd announce that I didn't have the flu and was probably faking. I would ignore her and keep throwing up. Then she'd settle on saying I ate something bad or got a stomach bug.

I've been thinking about my past as well. It seems to me I was always anxious, but why? I remember going on errands with my mother wondering whether to go in with her or not, but why was that? Was I out of whack back then? It does seem that I didn't feel grounded to the earth. My real vertigo like symptoms started back when I was around 11. There was a lot of stress going on in the family. I don't remember a lot of spinning, but I do remember having falling feelings. Also during that time I would get a "click" sound in my head if I bounced up and down just right. This went on through middle school. I also would get very bad migraines though out grade school, to the point of getting sick. My Positional didn't start happening till about the 20's. I think the first time was after coming back from a long bike ride at night. It was starting to cool down from a summer day. once I got home I noticed by ears being plugged up and feeling horribly dizzy.

As a child..(i can remember back till i was 3) i had the normal illnesses [i guess] I had the chicken pox; some fever's here and there because of colds. I had a lot of stomach issues as i became a tween. I never ever had any dizziness. I didn't know how what it felt like, what it was. I never had a anxiety attack until i started to travel. I did have problems with my ears easily getting clogged up. My mom had to take me to the hospital to get my ears cleaned out often. I was told I have very small ear drums.

I was 25 and very frightened of flying. It was our honeymoon to Tahiti. A total of 5 plane rides there and back. That traumatized me and messed my EARS up. I think that my inner ear problem brewed from the traveling. Thats when all HELL broke lose for me. My ears hurt so bad during the flights. I spent three days of my honeymoon with muffled clogged up ears. I was very miserable but pretended not to be..it was my honeymoon!
