Hi My name is Judy an i suffer for BPV or so they tell me sorry this is long
I had my first bout about 3 or 4 years ago went through all the tests Mri Eng etc. Went to an MD and ENT and a nurologist They determined benign positional vertigo . it took about 6 weeks and it went away.
I alway have to make sure i dont look up for to long or sleep on my left side but for the most part I have been fine an occasional off feeling but thta all.
Well 3 days ago I woke up spinning after turning I waited it out for 2 days and went to my Dr He feels its the vertigo and said he will pass on it own.
The one thingh i have that i didnt have is pressure in my head almost like im squinting without my glasses that tightness that we feel I also call them brain zaps I also have very bad sinus problems
I have to tell you that i am a hyppochonriac and this isnt helping. the spinning isnt as bad its better but im convinces i have an infection in my brain from the sinus or a tumor
Does anyone else relate to what i am saying??? I can be sitting down and all of a sudden i get this weird feeling in my head almost like im goinmg to spin but dont.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I have had those episodes where I squint. For me, it's like a headache without the pain. I squint like I have a headache but I don't. It's just the feeling in my head that makes me squint.
If you had a normal MRI before, I'd just chalk it up to the BPPV and try and relax. I KNOW how hard that is, believe me. But be encouraged that if it went away before, it will again.

Just wanted to say i hear ya. :)
I too am at my witts end. I went to a specialist for vestibular rehab. I had an MRI, EEG and VNG all came back negitive. The Doctor said that my left ear is not functioning properly. With that said, I feel so helpless as my dizziness is not an everyday occurance. I can go to sleep and wake up so dizzy that I'm physically sick for at least a week.
This doctor wanted me to do these exercises and I have been doing them however, I am still having this issue with the dizzyness and nausea that makes me miss work and my life. I am sick of this as I have lost jobs because of this and this condition is ruining my life.
Any advice for someone who has had to deal with this condition for 6 years now. I just want it to stop period!

I WISH I COULD HELP EVERYONE BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT ALL OF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. ONCE AGAIN, I HAVE TO TYPE IN CAPS BECAUSE MY VISION IS SO OUT OF WHACK FROM THIS DIZZINESS.
