Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. I have an observation that I would like to share, and invite your comments:
When I bring up my Vertigo to people, I am surprised at how many of them either know someone who had, or currently has, vertigo - or had/has it themselves. Before I was struck with it, I only knew "Vertigo" as the name of a movie. Is this something that is becoming more and more prevalent, or was I just unaware of it?
At the risk of being declared a conspiracy theorist, I have to ask if anyone else has ever wondered if all the electrical waves going through our bodies from cell phones, televisions, radios, etc. could be one of the causes?

I mean face it if long term exposure to slight levels of radio active material can be dangerous I have no doubt there is some form of correlation with all the broadcast waves and everything else.
