I am not sure if its the same feeling I get. If I go into a Large store my vertigo kicks up immediately. Sometimes its the way the ceiling beams are or the isles are lined up etc but I get an over whelming feeling and sometimes I lose balance or feel like the floor just moved. I actually responded because just today I went into Walmart to look at bathing suits, I was in there all but 5 minutes before I became overwhelmed , felt like I was going to fall over and had to rush out all panicky.

I am not sure i have that but there are times i feel terrible in stores and
quickly do my thing and get out of the store. I know your feelings but i really can't explain what or why.

I don't deal with being in stores very well either. I still get very panicky and can't tolerate the lights. I was told I had vestibular vertigo and it explains my intolerance to lights, wavy lines etc. There are certain stores that I will not go in at all because I too get very panicky and have to leave.

Same here, any supermarket is a nightmare as soon as I walk in. I never look straight ahead that makes it worse, always look down. Had it for years and years, along with panic attacks (which I don't get now, only because I avoid completely what will set me off) so life is a little boring to say the least. Won't go here, won't go there, and have a long suffering other half thats stuck with it as well.

What you explain is the same feeling I have and have had for years. Stores do have the same effect wavy lines, lights etc. I keep trying new remedies but have not found any yet. What has helped is Vertigoheel. It wont eliminate it but offers some relief. It is a natural Homeopathic remedy. I have also visited a homeopathic practitioner and will be trying something new. I will keep you all up to date as to the relief.

For me, it's the music that is playing in the stores that cause me to be dizzy. The lights don't help, but the music is the real trigger. I usually leave the store feeling off balance and nauseous. I grocery shop only once a week and do most of the rest of my shopping online. I am dizzy most of the time, but the dizziness gets much worse in any store that has music playing.

I have been wondering what the deal is with me and lights in big stores. I also start feeling dizzy and off balance. I hold on tight to the buggy handle or else I swear I would probably just fall! I have actually done that before. But I also sweat a whole bucket in those stores. I wonder if it has to do with vertigo or the vertigo and sweating have to with something else? Either way its miserable because I can get inexpensive school clothes and school supplies for my kids there and that shopping experience is coming up soon! Of course my husband will not do that for me! Oh well, as my mom says "you have to expect some aches and pains as you age". Yeah mom!!!

yes i experience these things in stores and i too wonder what brings them on. It started about 8 years ago. I am retired single here and play golf and do other things but do have annoying off balance experiences in stores and stuff. I have gone to this physical therapist who gave me 4 exercises to do to help with balance but so far they don't seem to get rid of the head symptoms. I guess aging has something to do with it our systems breaking down or getting old like our cars they age and parts have to be replaced however some human parts can't be replaced as like the car we head to the scrap pile
