Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.

Hi friends,
Wondering if y'all could help me with this. For about 3-4 months I have been having this really strange sensation, usually in the morning when I wake up. I will get out of bed and feel like I am falling. I stagger around and lose my footing a lot. My head feels numb inside, not all swimmy like. I will pour my coke and sit on the porch swing and now heres the weird parts. I will try to read and I cant. My eyes feel like THEY are swimming and dancing and doing aerobics and just having a grand ole time. They do everything but stand still so I can read. My whole body feels like it is moving around. Like I am swinging in the swing front and back and side to side although I am perfectly still.
I also will try to look around and all of our plants look like there are two of them. I figured out after awhile that I was having double vision. I will keep shaking my head and closing and opening my eyes but to no avail. It keeps happening. Usually it will go away by the time I hit the road for the 20 mile trip to work. But the other day it stayed with me and driving was soosoo scary!!! I could not judge distance and the double vision made 2 cars out of one. I stayed in 3rd lane figuring if I ended in a wreck hopefully I would just kill myself. I was like that all day at work. I am a MA and so it was kinda easy until I had to start writing stuff then it was not working as all the words and numbers were swimming around. Finally I started feeling like I was actually going to faint. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I usually feel nauseated also.
I did suffer a head injury in February. I fell backwards and my head literally "bounced" off a high curb three times! I went in and out of consciousness so they called 911. Luckily it did not penetrate the skull but I did have to have 3 staples in the area of the skull that drs's call the "death zone" or something like that. Its because you usually dont survive it. Anyway, I did so I must have a hard head. I am wondering if all this weird vertigo or dizziness could have been caused by that? I also have a lot of immune related issues going on due to a large viral load of EBV in 2006. Never fully recovered from that little fiend.
Any help from you guys will be so helpful! Thank you so much and a great day to all of you!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Google BPPV and read about it. If that's what you have, you can get it fixed quickly.
