Can you give a little more info on how this feeling started? Was it out of the blue? Did you have a cold or virus before it started? There are a lot of conditions to choose from that could cause this; hopefully you doctor will run some tests and be able to figure it out.

had my appt with ent today he tested my hearing and looked at my sinus and also cleaned ears of wax. He seems to think that there is nothing there. I still feel uncomfortable like my compass is 5 degrees off but i guess its anxiety. I hate the feeling anyone else feel like this

There are other tests of the balance system that can be done like an ENG--you may want to seek out a balance specialist, called a neuro-otologist. They specialize in evaluating people with balance problems, and figuring out if it is anxiety. You can find a balance specialist at veda.org

Hey Steve, I feel the same way. My dizziness is worse in a.m. as soon as I wake up. Room spins a little, but during the day I feel sort of off, not too dizzy but some. At night I feel a little better. But I feel so sleepy/tired that I could sleep 24/7. When I wake up I feel like I never slept. I am also sleeping many more hrs. weird. I went to Dr. this a.m. and he prescribed an anti biotic, in case I have a small inner ear infection. I will start taking tonite, as it can make me tired. I posted that info this a.m. on this site. If it works, I'll let you know. I am also taking Excedrin aspirin for migraines. Whatever it is, I wish it would go away!!

I am also going to eye doctor soon, as my vision has really changed. I am 55 and usually just need readers to read close up, buy my distance is worse.more blurry, so I will see what he says.
