Hi all,

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind describing some of your memory or concentration issues. I am having a very hard time with mine, but because my doctors have not been able to measure my symptoms by their means they attribute these to my depression.

I also have had a feeling of being outside of myself, or sort of like I am fading away.

Does anyone else with chronic vertigo feel similar to this?

Anyone like to share their experiences on this topic?

Early on I felt like a not yet born babe, with no language to think about the bewildering condition with. Simple awareness. Awareness of nothing? This experience lasted maybe five or ten minutes before remembering who I am - a grown human being. Every day since then I remember more. Mostly I miss a philosophy to live by, if ever I had one. So I'm busy putting together a new one. I'm basing it on what I believe to be a good solid fact. By thinking, I create my experience. Thinking is not an easy thing to do anymore. Is it a question of practice, practice, practice?

At first I had to learn to focus my eyes so what I saw made sense.
Things are good in that department now.

I think having vertigo does contribute to anxiety and depression. I have vertigo and have suffered with depression and sometimes it can effect memory but when your depression clears the memory gets better. As for vertigo im totally baffled by it
