Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. I can go to some restaurants and be fine. Other times I go to certain places and it seems like I always get a flare up there.
Every time we go Cracker Barrel it makes me sick. The one closest to my house is always really slow and has bad service. So after an hour of sitting in an uncomfortable chair, not being able to move around, dealing with the loud noise, waiting a long time for food, and feeling my blood pressure rise because I'm angry, I always get more dizzy. Then when the food shows up I'm too upset to eat.
We just got back from there and it was a total disaster. I ate half a sandwich and a few bites of applesauce. I hate the thought of telling hubby we have to limit our lifestyle even more, but I just can't stand to go there.

When we go out to eat i always have some sort of dizzy spell. Most of the time its enough to deal with and it will subside. Its as if my brain has to adjust to the surroundings.
I have to be careful what I order though. Eating out makes me feel bad anyway. So its one of those times i just say SCREW IT lets go to the Olive Garden! LOL And its bad enough i live in a community that has every restaurant you see on the commercials within a 5 mile radius.
