Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.

It starts when I'm taking a shower. I've had an okay day, spent most of it on the couch. But now it's 1:30 in the afternoon and I seriously need to shower. The twisting and turning makes me really dizzy. I'm disappointed when I see I'll have to take a meclizine.
Then it happens. My sister calls my cellphone. I don't feel like talking, so I don't answer. A few minutes later she shows up on facebook, why won't you answer your phone I am worried about you! I realize my mistake: last night I posted a photo of the bruise on my arm from the ER visit. Now my sister is all freaking out.
I don't feel like talking about the ER. I don't need another lecture or more stupid advice. But I know she'll keep calling until I answer.
The anxiety kicks in. My pulse gets faster. I lose my appetite.
Now it's 3:30 and I've done nothing but hide out on Daily Strength. Great, I'm supposed to do my therapy and start dinner around 5:00. If hubby comes home to me saying I'm too sick to cook again, he won't get angry but it will still be a long night. The anxiety gets worse.
I have to gather the willpower to get up. Face my sister with no fear. Pray. Walk in the bath yard to get some fresh air.
I refuse to let today be a disaster. I will be an overcomer.

Gosh your post was put into the exact words that I feel almost daily. I spend most of my days on the couch too, and usually go at least 3 days in between showers now. First off, the dizziness is too much to handle in the shower and second, I am utterly exhausted after a shower that I just go back to laying down. My hubby is very supportive too but I can tell when he's irritated that I am once again not feeling well. Then there's my kids, who I really feel awful about cause they know mommy is sick but don't understand the limitations it brings.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
