I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

Quite awhile back, I posted (several times) an article called "What Forgiveness Is Not." I believe I also sent this via private message and/or email to a number of folks here.


Now I need a copy of that article (my old laptop met with a fatal accident in October -- hard drive unrecoverable) and I can't find it online anywhere!

Mary - I think I have found it in an old post by Dairytech. It was posted a lot of times in our group back in the "old days" of DS.

I'm doing just fine...enjoying the Arizona sunshine, meeting interesting and amazing people and making new friends. Going to (hopefully) finish writing Christmas cards today and start learning about lapidiary (rock polishing!) and wire-wrapping to make jewelry out of them. Lots of activities here at Rock Shadows RV Resort and a HUGE, heated swimming pool.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
