Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. I may of not said what I meant to say. Google sample to see what one looks like to get a better understanding, but if you are going to try and do your own, get a copy from the plan administrator so you get the wording right. If you have a QDRO for the pension, good chance that that early on the lawyers agreed on a consulting firm or other party to value it and help divide when the time comes.. Here, the judge approves at the one of the early status hearings who does it. When you are in the throes of divorce, easy to not remember that happening.. and remember, hindsight is twenty twenty. It is a lot easier to give advice after the divorce! The very best to you! You will get through this...
