I'm sorry, Drtexdi. That's expected but sad news. I lost my exFIL in 2010. He was like a second father to me. I know that you know your dad is in a good place and he's with your mum. Now he can be with you all the time, too.

My dad died at 58, I was in my early thirties, and it always gave me great peace that I was there holding his hand. and it was by pure chance, we thought he had longer. I always have said they do not suffer for themselves, they suffer and linger so we can get used to the fact they are leaving this earth. My condolences to you and all yours, dear drtexi.
