I like the idea of assigning the convicted cheaters to work on the "chain gang" . And their meals can be tainted with Salt Peter to help keep their little heads focused. It is potassium nitrate in the old days soldiers had saltpeter slipped in their coffee to reduce [sexual] randiness.

My ex is a police officer and the amount of cheating that used to go on places was truly amazing. If the OW/OM would stop sleeping with married spouses, there would be no one to cheat with. Not happening, though. There are fewer people with morals today. I'm with DebbieLeo, I would definitely tell a friend. I wish someone had told me instead of having to find out the way I did. I know from personal experience, my ex was always trying to get the next high (gambling and womanizing). Once he got caught with all the gambling, he wasn't able to look me in the face without seeing what he had done, cheating just followed naturally for him. He had no choice but to leave to be with the skank. She accepted him for who he was..........(puking).......

I think there are as many reasons why as there are cheaters...they just end up being excuses. People seem to never be satisfied with what they have...always want more or what the other guy has...only once they got it...they want more or something else.

hurtinandhealin you hit it right dead centre people are so selfish today that they only think of themselves. But they lose so much for what nothing. I was told about a TV program about the OW. How they make themselves look like the victim. I was furious. My daughter tried to tell me about something about the OW and why she does it. But I did not even let her finish, I could never trust a man or woman who cheated. Nor will I keep quiet about it either.

I rather be alone than with someone who thinks along those lines. And as the Ten Commandments say Thou shalt not commit adultery right up there under Thou shalt not kill.

My ex worked in the Theatre...I was blown away by the amount of cheating that went on. The Green room is supposed to be for performing artists waiting to preform...however...after hours...when the stage lights go out...the green room takes on a whole different life...and from what I have learned...this is true in most theatres.

When I look back on the whole cheating thing..my ex was on a huge ego trip and believed he was irreplaceable. He was the best at what he did and he became competitive for Green room rights. My ex went to battle for a skank usher who was married and was having an affair with my ex's co-worker...who was also married...it was a triangle..it was unbelievable to watch.

I really dont know what makes one person cheat over another. It could be a character default or they could just be stupid. I'm not sure and I'm not even sure it matters anymore. Could it simply be it was because there human and have heightened weaknesses in comparison to those who do not cheat? I do believe that at some point...we all have to reach that point where is just doesn't matter anymore...I'm not quite there yet but I sure do wish it would hurry up and get here...Big Hugs...Kathy
