Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Sorry to hear about the spousal maintenance. I hope the judge socks it to him too.

Hey, with this court date coming up for you, would you believe that I just had to go thru that circus last year? I didn't have an attorney but had touched base with one. She said, 'there are some key points that you need to touch on. Did he get most of the property at the timeof the divorce? Was there a working arrangement, such as you would be home the majority of the time, not work full time/just part time, while he worked full time and supported the family? And that this was a marriage that lasted 20 years...
Good luck. I'll send up a few for you and good to meet you! L~
Glad you trip was as wonderful and hope that you are rejuvinated for this next leg of the 'journey'.
Support is ineveitable - why does he even WASTE eveyones time with this stupidity?! Does he really think he won't have to pay? What an ass. Go get 'em girlfriend!
You have a great attitude, nothing you can do about his behavior.
Have a great day!
Re the jerk - I wish he was in California. Nailing deadbeats is fun and judges hate people who resort to self-help. Contempt charges and the possibility of jail may change his mind. If he's employed, a wage assignment is always a good way to collect support here.

Folks, Disney is living proof that there is a good life after divorce.
Now, unpack your bags, rest up, and then take that no good skunk of an ex back to court and kick his butt. Don't you just love it when they simply think they can ignore a court order.
Hugs!
