I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

I just wanted to say "hi", and let you know that I think of you all often. I haven't been on for two weeks, but I keep all of you in my prayers.


Stopped by today and am sad to see the new site is still the same :(.  I find it visually unappealing and hard to use. Hope you all are hanging in there.

Welcome back! I enjoyed following your Alaska adventures on FaceBook. And yes, the "new & improved" DS site is still the same -- clunky and not very user friendly. DO send your feedback as bobinmaine suggested. If we keep after the powers that be, maybe it will lead to positive change!

Hope all is well.
The new site is really difficult . They told that they're going to work on correction some of our complaints, but............that was three or four weeks ago....maybe more. Anyway I don't log on as much as I'd use to .For one thing g is the new site and..........well, it seems like most of the people that I knew here are gone. I would think that they feel better as I do.
For me it's been about 8 or 9 years here. Wow. I still have some down moments. Anyway....you take care.....good to hear from you ...Timeman ....Bob

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
