Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
I'm sitting in the Columbus airport, flying out in a few hours. My Dad went into the hospital last Saturday with pneumonia. His doctors are saying he won't make it. These are hard times. My sons and daughter-in-law won't be able to be there. Yes, I am feeling sorry for myself. I can't say that I feel alone because my new school and Church family have taken care of everything for me. So loneliness but not (if that makes ant sense). Prayers again please.
Prayers that your father finds great comfort having you all there. I've always said it is a great privilege to be with someone when they pass. It's good to know your siblings are able to share this important time with you as well.
