Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Well I guess its about here, I meet with my attorney tomorrow morning, reguarding wed, property division, custody, house etc.Most of you guys have followed me through all the hell, from her suicide attempt, to getting my house back. to the most importantly, my sons and his safty and prtection through this hell. Several days ago I recieved her packet for the hearing and affidavits from my oldest step son (25), he was 5 , whenI became dad to him. Well I was slammed with lies etc. I am bracing myself for wed, and will know more tomorrow.
Hold tight to your convictions AND TO YOUR FAITH. I envisioned my Heavenly Father sitting next to me and my attorney that day. I knew that He was holding us both in the palm of His hand. Justice prevailed. It was finally OVER -- and my New Life is 1,000 times BETTER than that old one ever was - even on its best day!
Hang in there, my friend. The end is near and then you will be able to put all of this behind you and walk forward into that New Life!
