Pain 4 weeks post-op

I had a laparoscopic colectomy (18 inches) 4 weeks ago, and have been back to work for 2 weeks. All was going well...no pain, except for minor incisional belly pain. Within the past 3 days, I started getting these stabbing pains in my abdomen...just for a second each time. I read on the internet that as the anastomosis heals, it constricts, and can cause pain as stool passes it. Perhaps I added fiber to my diet too quickly? My surgeon said "no diet restrictions", and should be able to eat whatever I want. Anyone else experienced this?

I had my surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago and I feel this pain like something is crawling around in my intestines. Do you feel similar pain at the stage?

I had my surgery a week and a half ago. I had problems after the 3rd day. My surgeron told me that my intestines had fallen asleep. They withheld solid food for 3 days and the noise tube drained my stomach from the bile.
I'm home now and have been put on a strictly soft food diet for the next 3 weeks.
I do have a bit of pain, mostly when it's time for a BM. Maybe this is something that you should try?
