Ask your Doc for Asacol HD. That is the popular name brand of Mesalazine. Mesalazine fixes so many colon problems that it has a high likelyhood of fixing you AFTER you are not infected.
Another thing you might try is going on a glutten free diet. Many people have trouble with glutten and do not know it. You have to be a expert to figure of what glutten is in and what it is not in.
I really do not think people are being told the truth about the reversal of a colostomy. There are many dangers.
I know I sound like a broken record on Mesalazine, but there are only two real choices for us. Why not try the other choice?
I hope you feel better soon. I gave up on diet other than no fiber / liquids when sick.
