When I had my incident...my diverticulae actually ruptured (thank God no stool or liquid was in it) and I was in hospital for about 5 days.
When I read of people in our forum here having diverticulitis attacks....does that mean that everyone has had a rupture or have they just experienced the horrid pain??

I Do Hope that You are able to Successfully Control Your Dv-T with Diet..and that you will be able to Avoid Surgery ~ Is what I Hope for everyone.
I respect and feel the pain of all who are suffering, not just from this dread disorder/disease but all in life who suffer not only physically but mentally from any affliction. All my family died of cancer, and I truly know how awful that can be.
Please forgive me if I came across as being condecending...it definitely was not meant to sound that way. Sometimes the written word does not reflect what the verbal words would say or sound like.
I am definitely NOT that kind of person. I devote my life to giving life to babies born to crack Moms. We are foster parents to newborn babies and I have seen the worst of the worst in this and in life in general.
