I am still either going a lot, sometimes hard sometimes the opposite with diaroeah, it is not controlled at all. Spoke to Dr today & she said to increase the movicol, continue with the actilax, dont try the ename's any more & drink more water etc.
Also said not to take metamucil as it could be making it harder to go??
Anyway I have an appt with gastroenterologist this Thursday, rang last week & got it moved fwd I was lucky there had been a cancellation. I am still waiting on seeing the collarectomy/surgical team from last year as not classed as urgent. my GP has said to take that letter with me, she has written a letter to take as well & wants me to try to get the gastroenterologist to get the other
Anyway the GP today was most concerned that some days I am having a lot of difficulty to go with bladder & that is usually when I am not going with bowels as well. She is thinking that I may be so constipated that the urine cant get around the bowel build up. This could be quite dangerous she said.

Like you said the pain is wearing me down & probably why I got the virus so bad, also making ms symptoms be more troublesome every day. The abdomen is painful all the time just different amounts of pain. I am down to 1x400mg brufen & only occasionally 2, I am taking tramadol for pain relief & panadol 3 times a day to try to keep the pain level down. I can increase the tramadol I am taking to control it more but don't like taking too many.
Any ideas of what I can say or ask the Dr's to make them take notice of me more? I really fear that I have a bowel blockage or the diverticular is playing up. I have been patient but really fed up with it all.
Thanks in advance.
