Unless you are lifting heavy and trying to build up some serious strength or muscle what you are doing should be just fine.
You could also do your cadio and weight training on separate days which is what I do. My weight training is pretty intense and I have to take a day or two off between workouts in order to recover.
Another option is to do circuit training and get your cardio and weight training done at once. You won't build a lot of strength or muscle that way but if all you are after is general fitness it's great.
My form of exercise is walking. yep that gives all parts of my body a work out. walking can also tone our legs, arms, back hip's...
I to believed and defended the common/acceptable lie, That we half to work out ea with different ways of doing so and dang to have such work out schedules.LOL
My exercise schedule is an over all work out at same time at same time every 2 to 3 days.
recently I have been walking dailiy to melt fat in fat cells a little faster.
I had days when I would go in and strength train first and vs. I had found that my lifting performance was not hindered if I did it before or after cardio. It was only cardio that seemed to be decreased. I also though work full time so when I take or instruct my classes I am doing them back to back (not every night of course).
Its about what works for you and your body as well. What do you feel helps you to get the most out of your workout?
