Weekly Weigh-In (May 24) - Tools & Regrouping

While I didn't get to create a new post last week, it occurred to me that my exercise list needs to be updated as do some other things. Sometimes routines become outdated. Example for me is that I've been hesitant to do the usual exercises until I meet with a doctor to go over scans of some recent concerns that have shown up on the imaging reports.
Realizing the things like cracked ribs should not be interfering with my entire exercise routine, I'm going to get hold of a physical therapy log and start tracking what I can do. This way, I can build up some strength in the interim of getting to speak with my doctor.
I don't know about anyone else but it sure seems that goals and plans can easily get derailed, making it ever more important to stay on top of them and not give up.

Remember the (5) S’s for Weighing:
♦ Same TIME of day
♦ Same DAY each week
♦ Same CLOTHING
♦ Same SCALE — and remember, sometimes the scale doesn’t budge, but the waistline does
♦ Same SELF-COMPASSION

Hopefully, anyone reading will have a nice Memorial Day weekend.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
