Im 19, 5'2, and I have been struggling with my weight since I was about 14. I just started my first job at the family business. I was at a healthy 140 pounds and doing great. Im a very shy person and always have been. Out of nowhere I started feeling anxious and nervous just having to deal with the stress of working with new people. I have a bit of a problem with social anxiety, It seems when I started at the company, instead of opening up and being the bubbly and funny person I always have been I went back into my shell. I became very quiet and started to isolate myself from my other coworkers. Whenever they would try to strike up a conversation its almost as if my mind would go blank and I would not know what to say other than a few words. I could tell they started to think that something was wrong, just judging on my social actions. This began to stress me out even more because I had never shown this type of behavior even in school. So I decided to turn to food which made the situation even worse. I gained 23 pounds in a month and a half. My coworkers surely noticed and eventually stopped talking to me completely. I began to miss work because of these feelings of not being accepted. I am now at a weight of 163 and feeling like I need some healthy advise.

It sounds like being in the "family business" is the problem. You may think and feel deep down your family have some type of expectations of u, that u feel you may not be able to life up to, and give them. I would suggest to get out of the "family business" and work for someone else. You just might find your stress level completely go away and your weight come off.

I have been considering looking for a new job, just not sure how to go about it. Thanks for the advise :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
