So the changes you want to make are changes you will do the rest of your life. Those changes special to you will be part of 'your lifestyle'
Hope that helps!
One change that is important is sleep. With too little sleep, you affect your resulting health. That is one type of lifestyle change - ensuring that you get at least 7hrs or more of sleep a night.
Another change to me is breakfast. Entirely way too many people are all about rush rush rush and so sorry, no time for breakfast. Sorry, but it's the most important meal of the day, so you best make some time, even if it's 5min to toss something together for a breakfast or you will suffer the rest of the day.
That is another lifestyle change - ensuring that you consume some sort of healthy breakfast so that your body has some fuel to begin that hectic day. Grab something whole wheat or whip up a cup of oatmeal or grab a health drink and muffin, but never miss breakfast at the start of your day.
Where there's a will, there's a way. Sometimes, one just needs to think ahead and plan a healthy style of eating and living that fits their particular situation. When someone cries about needing to get in shape and lose some weight, but their 'lifestyle' consists of hustle, bustle, no time, grab fast foods and convenience foods, the replies will be make lifestyle changes now.
I doubt that places which serve food offer only unhealthy selections. People in general are demanding healthier offerings or they go elsewhere. if you have a choice of white or whole wheat, pick whole wheat. If you have a choice of cole slaw with mayo sauce full of calories or a plain salad, pick the salad. I bet there are even some real fresh fruits available by the cash, so grab a banana or apple.
When you shop, you must read the nutritional labels as food items differ in content, just like our individual lives differ in opportunities to prepare and obtain healthy meals.
You must be looking for protein and fber content to be high, and the fats, sugars, and sodium to be low.
Yes, we all lead different and varied lives, but our bodies require the same basics when it comes to feeding/fueling those bodies.
How we go about getting those requirements filled may differ, but we all must reach the same resulting finish which is a healthy body and so the use of lifestyle changes gets used alot.
One needs to make changes in the style of life to become healthier. It's all about choice.
Yeah I agree with everyone, it's just about changing the way you live, eat, exercise, sleep, everything to live a healthy life. I've seen the effects of an unhealthy life, my dad, and it took his life too soon...I do not want that..so I am changing my lifestyle! Good luck!
